The water Crises in the Thar Parker region of Pakistan

Water is a basic necessity for humans, without water no human can survive for more than a few weeks, yet millions of people across the world don’t have any at all, or if they it’s so dirty and diseased it will eventually kill them, in the West water is so available we take it for granted, and waste it on trivial things like cleaning cars and filling swimming pools, when people are dying without it, it just isn’t fair, the gap between those who have and those who don’t; has never been so great.

People living in poor counties need water for everything, from drinking and washing to stop the spread of diseases and infections, for cooking the little food they have, to watering their animals, to watering their crops so they can eat, without it they will die, in the West we just can’t comprehend that people die from lack of water, but it does happen; every single day.
It is the elixir of life. Without it nothing can survive.

A young boy is drinking water from the place where the goat is also drinking. It is not only this young boy but the whole inhabitants of this village drink water the same way. This picture is from a village in Thar region of Pakistan. There is no electricity, no water and no prosperity in the region but still hundreds of thousands of people are surviving with terrible conditions in the area.

According to an estimate a total number of 500 hand pumps are immediately required in the area in order to provide these people with clean water. The cost for placement of 500 hand pumps in the area is estimated to be $10,00,000. However, our team is dedicated to place few at the initial level and with the support of international organizations this target can be achieved in very small period of time.
