12 Year old boy in Police Custody

Free Faizan Bashir Sofi

A local court on Monday sent a minor to the juvenile home for 15 days for “participating in protests against the Indian rule” at Eidgah on Eid-ul-Fitr.
Faizan Bashir Sofi, son of Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Eidgah, Srinagar, was produced by police in the court of Sub Registrar Srinagar, Manzoor Ahmad Zargar.
“The court sent him to juvenile home for 15 days,” Station House
Officer, police station, Safa Kadal, Parvez Ahmad told Kashmir Reader

The FIR in the case has been registered under sections 435, 147 and 149 of Ranbir Penal Code which pertain to mischief by fire or any explosive substance “with the intention to cause damage to any property, rioting, unlawful activities and unlawful assembly,” the police officer said.

He however claimed that Faizan was not arrested by police. “We didn’t arrest him but had asked the family to produce him before the court after he was identified from the videos,” he added.

However, the lawyer who appeared on behalf of Faizan, a 6th standard student, contested police version saying the minor was arrested by police on Sunday.

“Faizan was arrested by police on Sunday and was produced before court today,” advocate Babar Qadri told Kashmir Reader.

“We have moved a bail application but police has not reported back yet,” Qadri added.

We appeal International Human Rights Organizations to intervene in the matter & help rescue the little child from the clutches of these home grown terrorists(read Jammu & Kashmir Police) at work who have sold their Deen-o-Imaan for perks & promotions.

Our Organization is willing to arrange seminar shortly for raising voices for all innocent boys that are in police custody. For that you are welcome to forward us suggestions and positive ideas so that we can work together. Hope to hear from you at humanitytrust@hotmail.com

WE NEED DIALOGUE OF LOVE

"I believe all suffering is caused by ignorance. People inflict pain on others in the selfish pursuit of their happiness or satisfaction. Yet true happiness comes from a sense of peace and contentment, which in turn must be achieved through the cultivation of altruism, of love and compassion, and elimination of ignorance, selfishness, and greed."
Dalai Lama

Every war could be stopped by love.
Since September 11th 2001, the whole world has been united by their hatred and mistrust of the Muslim religion and its followers, people think they are fundamentalists and dangerous, and a threat to the life-style of the west. They believe all Muslims are terrorist bombers in waiting.

These ideas are both wrong and disabling for every single person in the world; it creates unease and tension that is just not necessary.
The people who do go out and commit these horrific, violent and senseless acts in the name of Islam are neither as great in number as the media portrays, and are not real Muslims.
I have personally read the Koran and nowhere in it, does it encourage killings and murders in its name, in fact it tells people to live integrated and peaceful lives, which the majority of Muslims do.

The fact is that good and bad people are living in all corners of the world, and are of all religions.
The good people should not be symbolized for the deeds of bad people. Similarly it is unjust to label a particular community, religion or race anything for the acts of certain people only.
There is a strong need for love to grow especially among people living in East and West.

We are hoping to have workshops in which people from different cultures, communities, nations, races and colors should be invited to have a friendly dialogue with each other. That way a relationship of love will increase and things to improve the world situation can be discussed in a friendly environment.

If there are any organizations that would like to work with us in spreading love, harmony, peace and communication between humans belonging to different castes, religions, cultures and communities are warmly welcomed.
You can give your ideas and suggestions at humanitytrust@hotmail.com we look forward to with you on this project.
Thank you for your time in reading this.

The water Crises in the Thar Parker region of Pakistan

Water is a basic necessity for humans, without water no human can survive for more than a few weeks, yet millions of people across the world don’t have any at all, or if they it’s so dirty and diseased it will eventually kill them, in the West water is so available we take it for granted, and waste it on trivial things like cleaning cars and filling swimming pools, when people are dying without it, it just isn’t fair, the gap between those who have and those who don’t; has never been so great.

People living in poor counties need water for everything, from drinking and washing to stop the spread of diseases and infections, for cooking the little food they have, to watering their animals, to watering their crops so they can eat, without it they will die, in the West we just can’t comprehend that people die from lack of water, but it does happen; every single day.
It is the elixir of life. Without it nothing can survive.

A young boy is drinking water from the place where the goat is also drinking. It is not only this young boy but the whole inhabitants of this village drink water the same way. This picture is from a village in Thar region of Pakistan. There is no electricity, no water and no prosperity in the region but still hundreds of thousands of people are surviving with terrible conditions in the area.

According to an estimate a total number of 500 hand pumps are immediately required in the area in order to provide these people with clean water. The cost for placement of 500 hand pumps in the area is estimated to be $10,00,000. However, our team is dedicated to place few at the initial level and with the support of international organizations this target can be achieved in very small period of time. With poor quality of water the health of humans and communities get affected badly. However sad aspect is that there are areas in Pakistan where millions of people don't have access to clean water. Tips of prevention from AIDS

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF

It is incredibly rare for HIV to be transmitted in a household setting. In a very few cases, HIV has been transmitted when there was unprotected contact between infected blood and broken skin or mucous membranes.
To prevent even such rare occurrences, you should take the following precautions when caring for someone living with HIV:

1) Wear gloves if you are going to have contact with blood or other body fluids that could possibly contain visible blood, such as urine, feces, or vomit.
2) Cover cuts, sores, or breaks in the skin with bandages. This applies to both you and the person living with HIV/AIDS.
3) Wash your hands and other parts of your body immediately after contact with blood or other body fluids. Disinfect surfaces soiled with blood.
4) Avoid practices that increase the likelihood of blood contact, such as sharing of razors and toothbrushes.
5) Use needles and other sharp instruments only when medically necessary and handle them according to recommendations for healthcare settings. (Do not put caps back on needles by hand or remove needles from syringes. Dispose of needles in puncture-proof containers out of the reach of children and visitors.)

Computer Training Session for Girls

Pakistan is a poor country with poor literacy rate especially among women. The country has high ratio of domestic violance as the society is male oriented. There are many women that are financially abused by their parents, brothers and husbands because they don't have any skills at hand and they are not allowed to work outside by standing shoulder to shoulder with men.

We are planning to organize free computer training sessions for poor girls in villages as well as in cities of Pakistan so that they can stand on their own feet by working online from their homes. In these training sessions we will teach the girls how to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft windows and the internet. For more you can always guide us at humanitytrust@hotmail.com

We are looking forward to all kind of support by you by any means in this crutial time period so that adequate relief is given to the women in time.

EDUCATION IS A FUNDMENDAL RIGHT OF EVERY GIRL:

According to the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which was agreed in 1973, education is a basic right every child should receive. However, the situation is worse than it was ever been in Pakistan, as Government is not offering free education anywhere in Pakistan, which they should be. The rich can afford to send their children to school, whereas the poor have to send their children out to work to help their families, most of who are living way below the poverty line, this is not an equal system, and education is a right-not a privilege.

When it comes to female education in Pakistan, it has spiraled way out of control. There are less than 1% female graduates in Pakistan. In many villages and cities all over Pakistan parents do not allow their daughters to study, at all, the believe is somehow women are worthless compared to men. One reason is the lack of infrastructure, poor environments for girls to study; the mentality of government is not helping the situation either. The ultimate sufferers in this terrible lack of education are the women and society at large.
If every girl gets a chance to read and write then it might help end many social problems including… poverty, the energy crises, unemployment, illiteracy, terrorism and extremism from Pakistan. The reason is that positive thinking will develop among women and ultimately the entire society will be benefitted by it.

The team of Humanity Trust is working to open up schools for girls in all the areas of Pakistan they are needed, at the moment we have half the resources to run schools in the villages of Chontara (Rawalpindi), Paniola (Kashmir), Shah Allah Ditta (Islamabad), Jhangi Sayedan (Islamabad) and Tarnol (Islamabad).
We are also willing to run schools in the underprivileged areas of Sindh, Baluchistan and KPK. We have teams of people willing to work across Pakistan.
Any organizations who feel they can help us in this regard please contact us at humanitytrust@hotmail.com
All help and support will be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time in reading this.

When it comes to female education the scenario is awful in Pakistan. There are less than 1% female graduates in Pakistan. Thousands of mothers are suffering like that

It is story of a mother, she is pleading for help and there is no one to help her.. Her daughter was in Darul Aman.. Darul Aman is another name for shelter home where people go in certain circumstances especially when they have fears of death living at their homes. A police officer with the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector has abducted her daughter from Darul Aman. She was never found ever after. According to her the wife of Tariq Mahmood ASI was in the business of traficking women. That means there are chances of her daughter being sold to someone by that Police Officer and his wife. This women has the play card having all the story written over it. She is demanding justice and recovery of her daughter from the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

It is not only the story of this old mother. This story exists in different parts of Pakistan. There is no justice for the poor and hundreds of girls are abducted every day from different villages and cities which are never found.

We the team of Humanity Assistance & Relief Trust is willing to raise awareness on this issue. We are also willing to conduct survey in the police stations, Jails, hospitals, Darul Amans and at all other places for the missing girls. We are also concerned and willing to take action against the corrupt people in power supporting people like Police Officer ASI Tariq Mahmood. Only that way we can save many girls from losing their liberty. The organizations that are willing to work with us on this project should email us at humanitytrust@hotmail.com so that we can join hands in dealing with this issue in the most beneficient manner.
