Leadership and Motivation Session by Salman Yousaf Khan

On 14th of June 2015 PEAD Foundation, a renowned NGO hosted an event at Hotel Shelton Green Peshawar. The event was of a workshop on the topic of Leadership. The target audience of the event were youth from different universities of Khyber Pashtunkhwah.

Salman Yousaf Khan was the Trainer in the event. He is a renowned Lawyer, Politician and Social Worker from Islamabad, Pakistan. He can be approached at the following links:-

The presentation of Salman Yousaf Khan was based on slides, leadership examples, video clips and motivational quotes. There were group activities and presentations also part of the session. The session was very much energetic and interactive. At the end of session there was question answer session.


The main purpose of the event was to motivate the Youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was an event by which the motivation level of youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwah was increased. Pakistan is a country suffering because of poor leadership for last many decades. Such kind of events are always helpful in the nation building for future of Pakistan.

Women Empowerment Center (Concept Note)

Introduction

Women Empowerment Center is a project of The Pleaders Trust which is a partner organization of Humanity Assistance and Relief Trust. The Idea of Women Empowerment Center was generated from the concept that the deprived women should be given skills so that they can stand on their own feet and contribute as active citizens of the society.

It is not only the poor women which are deprived rather there are women belonging to all classes having miserable life styles because of different circumstances in their lives. Most deprived women suffer because of men which are mostly in their close relationships such as father, brother and husband.

Objectives

The objectives of the project are to:-

- To empower women by giving them skills
- To aware women by capacity building workshops
- Develop entrepreneurship skills in women through weekly classes

Activities
We are planning the following activities in this project:-

- Women Empowerment Conference
- Women Empowerment Workshops
- Women Empowerment Seminars
- Creation of Women Empowerment Center
- Awareness Camps
- Small Grants to Women Entrepreneurs

Expected Participants

We expect women aging between 18 years to 50 years to be among the participants in our different events and activities.

Venue

We are starting this project from Islamabad, Pakistan. However we will carry out activities in whole of Pakistan.
